Created by maturing Bush de Noël in oak barrels used for maturing Burgundy wine for 6-9 months. Its red and black fruit notes are reminiscent of wine; with touches of chocolates, and a hint of sourness that is rich and full in the mouth.

The Bush de Nuits was introduced to the market in 2008. To create this beer, the Bush de Noël was matured for six to nine months in oak barrels that were previously used to mature Bourgogne de Nuits-St-Georges, one of the great Burgundy wines. The beer is decanted into 75cl bottles and placed in the brewery’s warm room to produce a second fermentation.

The final result is utterly surprising. This is a beer with plenty of character, a clear colour, vinous aromas and a taste profile that leans towards wine…
